500 Customer Service Jobs in Sheffield

TV media giant SKY has revealed that they will be opening their 7th call centre in Ventana House on the Sheffield Digital Campus where they plan to create 500 new jobs due to increased demand for products.

Sky is now actively recruiting for the centre, currently concentrating on the 50 managerial posts which range from customer experience managers and leaders to office manager and trainer and coaching positions.

The bulk of the customer advisor recruitment starts in April for around 450 multi-skilled positions, with the centre becoming operational in June 2011.

Ann Allen, Business Investment Manager at Creativesheffield, commented: “Sky is a great name to be moving into Sheffield’s Digital Campus and will really complement the other creative, digital and new media companies who already operate there. The brand will also help to elevate the profile of the campus to attract further investment to the city. Sky has made a significant investment in Sheffield - which is fantastic news.”
